What we do for clients
You bring the idea, even if it is only a rough sketch. We handle the design, the build and the store release, and we can stay on afterwards to fix bugs and ship updates.
- App design. Screens, flows and the interface for both platforms, worked out with you before we write code.
- Native development. Swift and SwiftUI on iOS, Kotlin and Jetpack Compose on Android. No web wrappers.
- Backend and API work. Connecting the app to your REST or GraphQL APIs, WebSockets and third-party SDKs.
- Payments. Subscriptions and one-time purchases with StoreKit 2 and Google Play Billing.
- Store release. App Store and Google Play submission, review guideline checks and store listings.
We work on consumer apps, apps for a company's own staff or customers, and apps that control hardware such as smart home devices. If you are not sure your idea fits, ask us.
How we work
- Native on both platforms. We write a separate native app for iOS and for Android, so each one behaves the way people on that platform expect.
- Privacy first. An app should collect only what it needs. We keep data on the device where we can and store sensitive data in the iOS Keychain or the Android Keystore.
- Direct contact. You talk to the people building your app. We usually reply within 24 hours.
- Updates after launch. iOS and Android change every year. We can keep your app current with new OS versions, fix what breaks and add features over time.
Examples of our work
We also publish a couple of apps of our own. They show the kind of work we do for clients.
WLED Max
An app for LED lights that run WLED, the open source LED firmware. It finds lights on your Wi-Fi and controls them over your home network. Version 1.1.4 is out on iOS and Android. We also write the WLED guides on this site, which cover setup, effects, segments, presets and fixes.
WLED Max is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the official WLED project.
SunDash
A solar monitoring app for eGauge energy monitors and Fronius inverters, on iPhone and iPad.
Our developer pages: App Store and Google Play. Need help with one of our apps? Email or send an idea on the feature request page.
Founder
Jamie Conde (she/her) founded MeowScript LLC. She designs and builds iOS and Android apps, both for our clients and for our own apps.
She also writes most of the WLED guides on this site. If a step in a guide doesn't match what you see in the app, tell us through the chat button and we will fix it.
